Airport Safety Officer I EMT-B ~ Posting Closed:  Applications Under Review

Provides aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF), EMS, airport operations, and law enforcement services to The Eastern Iowa Airport in support of 14 CFR Part139, and 49 CFR Part 1542. Requires high school completion or GED equivalent and a valid Iowa Driver’s License. Prefer experience in law enforcement, firefighting, or airport operations. Knowledge of federal, state, local laws, and FAA and TSA regulations related to the operation of airports. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience: Salary: $40,185.60 - $49,857.60. Applicant must successfully complete training in the following areas within one year: Aircraft Rescue Firefighters School, Accredited Law Enforcement Academy, Emergency Medical Technician (Basic), and airport operations.
