Services at the airport

The Eastern Iowa Aiport (CID) boasts many services for travelers including free WiFi.  Below is a list of the many services you will find.

ATM

An ATM machine is located in the main terminal waiting area near the restaurant/lounge.

Baggage Claim

The baggage claim facilities are located at the east end of the main terminal. If you have difficulties, see a ticket agent at the airline that operated your flight. Or contact the airline at:

Business Center

A Business Center is available to all passengers from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Located at the east end of the main terminal across from the baggage claim area, it offers laptop computer ports and overhead presentation equipment. It can be leased for $15 an hour or $40 per day. Contact the Information Center to make reservations.

Disability Services

The terminal is handicap accessible. For people using wheelchairs, there specially designed curbs, doors and elevators located at key locations. Elevators featuring Brailler floor designations and raised control buttons assist the visually imparied. Also, service animals are permitted in the terminal buildings. Airline ticketing and baggage claim are also accessible. Airlines offer special escort/transportat services, upon request, with wheelchair assistance provided from the curb to the security checkpoint. Customers can also page an airport Skycap who will provide wheelchair assistance, along with luggage service and valet parking. To call and reserve Skycap service call (319)398-7077.

There is a a TDD phone located in the terminal. Please inquire at the Information Center for the location.

Handicap parking is available in the short-term lot. A handicap hang tag or license must be displayed to use a handicap parking spot.

Cell Phone Waiting Lot

A FREE cell phone waiting lot is available for people picking up passengers. The lot is is located near the Airport Administration building, prior to reaching the terminal. Signage along the Airport entrance road will direct you to the area where you can wait, and upon a passenger’s arrival, he can call you on your cell phone to let you know he is ready to be picked up at the terminal.

Charging Stations

More than 60 seats along the C Concourse are equipped with AC outlets to recharge laptops and other electronic devices. The outlets are located underneath the seats in the upper concourse.

Gift Shop

The primary gift shop is in the lobby.

Information Center

The Information Center is located in the center of the terminal lobby. In addition to a staff trained to answer your questions about the airport, the info center also offers a large collection of brochures and pamphlets about the Eastern Iowa region.

Internet Access

FREE Wi-Fi Internet access is provided throughout the Airport Terminal, courtesy of the Cedar Rapids Airport Commission/The Eastern Iowa Airport. If you have any trouble accessing the Internet service, please go to the Information Center in the terminal for assistance.

Mothers Room

Located next to the Women’s restroom in the main lobby of the terminal, this space is available for nursing moms who need a private space to pump or nurse their babies. There is a sink, counter, and glider in the room. You can obtain a key from the information desk in the center of the lobby.

SkyCaps

CID provides SkyCap service during flight operations. SkyCaps are available curbside and in the terminal. In the event you can not locate a SkyCap, please ask at the Information Center to page for service.

Services offered include: luggage handling, wheelchair assistance, valet parking, retrieving keys from locked vehicles and jump-starting vehicles. Call 398-7077 for more information or to inquire about making a reservation for valet parking.

Telephones

Telephones with computer hook-up capability are available, as is a phone with TTD capability for the hearing impaired. Please inquire at the Information Center.
