ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES EXPANDING SERVICE
LOW-COST AIRLINE TO ADD WEDNESDAY FLIGHT

(Cedar Rapids, Iowa)  The Las Vegas based airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, announces the expansion of its popular low-cost, nonstop service to Las Vegas, Nev. from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Due to popular demand, the seasonal addition of Wednesday service will become permanent April 15.  The new schedule will make travel from Cedar Rapids to Las Vegas available five days a week.

“We are very pleased with the performance of the Cedar Rapids market,” said Maurice J. Gallagher, the airline’s president and CEO.  “The addition of a Wednesday flight will make it easier for customers in Eastern Iowa get to the fun and excitement of Las Vegas.  We are confident this new schedule will have great appeal.”

The five-day-a-week schedule will depart Eastern Iowa Airport at 8:05 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 9:30 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 2:15 p.m. arriving in Cedar Rapids at 7:20 p.m. (all flight times are local).
